Gabriele Betti
Profile
Gabriele Betti began his career in software and technology at Bassilichi, developing lending software for Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS). He later moved through operations and marketing into the leadership of international beauty and retail businesses.
At Marionnaud Parfumeries, part of A.S. Watson Group within CK Hutchison Holdings, he served as Managing Director for Italy, then for France, before becoming CEO for Italy, France and Central Europe. The fragrance and beauty retailer operated more than 700 stores and generated nearly €1 billion in annual revenue. He brought the Italian and French businesses to their first break-even, helped grow e-commerce from €10 million to over €100 million, and consolidated eight business units into one organisation in 2024.
In 2025, he joined Jean-Michel Karam to take IEVA Group public and build it into a leading international beauty group. Today, as Directeur Général Délégué, he leads the group’s brands, driving their growth and international expansion.
His longstanding passion for technology and health also led him to serve as an Executive Advisor to The Longevity Suite, a leading European network of longevity clinics, supporting its digital development and integration projects.
An early advocate of AI for business growth and personal development, he continues to code and experiment. He also delivers AI masterclasses, including at Raffles Milano and IED, exploring how these tools can strengthen thinking, creativity and decision-making.
He works between Paris and Milan.
Education and outlook
Gabriele holds a degree in Economics, specialising in Marketing and Business Organisation, and a master’s degree in International Trade Law and Economics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He earned an Executive MBA from ESCP Business School and completed executive programmes in Digital Leadership at IMD Lausanne and Supply Chain Management at SDA Bocconi. He also holds certifications in GRI Standards from GRI Academy and Corporate Sustainability Reporting from 24ORE Business School.

Teaching
By 2025 he was already teaching students how to use AI as an ally: how to build a digital twin of their own thinking, how to integrate AI into their existing skills and how to turn it into a working companion rather than a replacement.
At Raffles Milano, in a lecture to the Master’s students, he explored the practical side of this: how to craft prompts for image generation, how AI is reshaping social media management, content creation and brand strategy, and what it means to keep ChatGPT and other AI-driven tools useful rather than overwhelming. The session centred on the same idea that runs through his work: AI does not replace us; it amplifies what we can build, if we learn to ask the right questions.
